Hello Tweets,

I've had a wonderful time this "winter" (actually, we've apparently jumped
straight from fall into spring this year) watching the Anna's Hummingbirds
forage for nest material among last year's fireweeds. They seem to keep
stuffing additional material into their beaks, presumably to maximize the
value-added per trip. I've posted a few photos at
http://www.flickr.com/photos/trileigh/.

(On that site are also a few photos of birds on the Big Island - no rarities
(in fact, all reasonably common in that area), but enjoyable for me
nonetheless.)

Good birding to you,
Trileigh
