For the second night in a row I've heard a Barred Owl calling in the
woods at the back of our housing development. I didn't think that
area was big enough to support owls. It is the first one I've heard
in our neighborhood since we moved here in 2004. It is a pleasant
sound to end the night as my head hits the pillow.
