Thanks 2 those who responded to my inquiry. Most interesting story. A lady responded fm Surry BC that she too had a banded bird and referred me to Dr. Karen Wiebe of the U of Saskatchewan. The bird had been banded 6/22/07 at Riske Creek, BC (W of Williams Lake).-as a fledging. She didn't know what he did his first year of life but was re-banded 5/26/09 near the same area.He mated w 2 yr female and she laid 9 eggs and fledged 6. So now he's here in Anacortes eating suet cakes full of pecans, hazelnuts and sunflower seeds sent to us via a relative in St Louis. Such a life !! A non-Tweetie sent me the banding info for Nat'l birds www.pwra.usgs.gov. What a great site that is. Again, TKS for responding and what a contact.
