Two of our local adult eagles put on quite a show this morning along Sunset Ave.? One of them landed on the?pedestrian jetty at the underwater scuba diving park next to the ferry dock and perched near the mounted binoculars for a while.

I saw some killdeer on?the south side of the marsh.? These are the first killdeer I have?since since the cold snap in?December.?

The eagles and I both finished our day at the fish hatchery. I walked Point Edwards and took photos of them while they alternated perching?on?two tall?trees.???My last shot was one of them standing guard over?my pickup from the top of the tallest tree on the hatchery grounds.
