Good Afternoon Tweeters:
This Wednesday morning I awoke to a beautiful male varied thrush in my back yard. Besides all my usual feathered friends of chickadees (BC and CB), juncos, bushtits, and song sparrows, I have been blessed daily with two Bewick's wrens, a nuthatch, several flocks of robins and pine siskins, male and female spotted towhees, several golden-crowned kinglets, and one male ruby crowned kinglet and two juvenile golden crowned sparrows. My yard wouldn't be complete without a few starlings and crows. My real surprise was the varied thrush and the haunting beautiful song he has.
I love sharing the world with birds and people who love birds!!
