Three owls today in Walla Walla and Franklin counties.

First, as of 3:45 PM, the Northern Saw Whet owl is still in the
camping area at Charbonneau Park on the lower Snake - a big thank you
to Mike and MerryLynn Denny and Nancy LaFramboise for putting me on to
this incredibly cute lifer bird. If you go, look for whitewash on
spruce boughs.

In the next tree over from the Saw Whet was a Great Horned owl. The
Merlin was still at Charbonneau today - not an owl, but a cool bird.

The third owl of the day was a very disgruntled looking burrowing owl
at the usual spot in the Hwy 12/Pasco-Kahlotus Hwy interchange.

Thanks again to all.
