Two?of?Edmonds'?adult bald eagles?have become?celebrities?by?appearing in a large color photograph on page one of the local section of today's (2/27) Everett Herald.??? I was unable to find?the photo in the Herald's online edition.? The Sunset Avenue/Mile Post 18 Gang has named the female?"Patchy " and the male "Bismark."??

Today I photographed?Bismark eating a bird while perched on?the shorter?piling between the fishing pier and the ferry dock.?? He needed the food, for I later saw him fending off some rather bold crows on strafing runs while he?was perched in one of the tall fir trees at the end of Sunset Ave.
