My dad and I saw the female King Eider at the same location it has frequented for the past 9+ months. This is Grays Harbor in the bay behind the Ocean Shores STP. There are hundreds of scoters in the area of all three species, but the eider sticks out like mad. There were also 3 Long-tailed Ducks and a Harlequin Duck out in the bay, and 24 Greater White-fronted and one Snow Goose at the STP. At least 200 Black-legged Kittiwakes were visible from the base of the Point Brown Jetty.
