For the folks who may not be aware, there will be two presentations
featuring the Falcon Research Group's Southern Cross Peregrine Project. For
the past three years, members of FRG have headed up this ground-breaking
migration project of capturing migrant peregrines in Chile, tagging these
birds with radio transmitters and then following their amazing migrations
from Chile to the Baffin Islands in Canada and back to Chile on the web for
all to see.

Bud Anderson will be presenting an hour long program describing the SCPP
results so far. One presentation will take place at the Padilla Bay Center
(10441 Bay View-Edison Road, Mount Vernon, WA) on Thursday evening, 14
January at 7 PM. A second presentation will be held in Seattle at the
downtown REI Store (222 Yale Ave N.) on Friday evening, 15 January at 7 PM.

The talks are free and should be quite fascinating for anyone interested in
migration.

Sincerely,

Becky Rosencrans
