I got this question from a friend, Pat Minden. I haven't seen any reports on the Bald Eagles in the upper Skagit, so don't know what to think. Do any of you have a good answer I can pass on to her?

"Pete and I went up to see the bald eagles on the Skagit River on New Years Day. We searched from Concrete-Rockport-Marblemount, etc., and could only find half a dozen. Have you heard any news or explanation for this?? In the past we've seen hundreds."
