Hi Tweets,



Our small, Eastside Audubon field trip group saw them flying overhead for just a few seconds before they disappeared behind the tall conifers....just a very, quick look at their undersides.....the tails weren't right for Barn Swallows, plus their coloring was light, not dark. Tree? Violet-Greens? Don't know, but it was so NEAT seeing swallows here in early January! Hope the bugs continue to help them out.



(They were flying above Issaquah Creek, between the bridge and the sandbar where the creek flows into Lake Washington.)
