Hi Tweeters,

Make that 10 doves today exactly where Brien described below.

Looked hard for the Red-shouldered Hawk that was found on the Rainier Audubon CBC at the Kent Ponds but no luck this morning. Bewick's Wren and Song Sparrows were belting out their songs at full volume. One Song Sparrow did a wing flutter display. Marsh Wren singing too but not so loudly. A Western Scrub Jay was at the grassy knoll at the tiny parking spot on 64th Ave in Kent. The Mallards were at their mallardy finest with bright yellow bills and shiny green heads. Nice morning to be out and I have hope for spring arriving!
