On Monday, with no rain past Olympia, I made several circuits thru both
Brady Loop and Wenzel Loop. My main purpose was to try to find the white
phase GYRFALCON that was reported yesterday. No dice, however.

But some interesting birds were around:

- ~50 Black-bellied Plovers were in a field due east of the intersection
of Wenzel Loop Rd., and Wakefield Rd.
- ~70 Dunlin were with the above Plovers.
- A Snow Goose associated with Canada Geese about 60 meters south of the
shorebirds.
- A Rough-legged Hawk was near the east entrance to Brady Loop.
- A Bald Eagle was perched near a large nest at the SE corner of
Brady Loop.
- As reported my Ruth Sullivan, there are LOTS of Swans along Brady Loop
road.
