Today I located an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull at the Yakima River Delta
in Richland WA. The gulls gather just west of Bateman Island after 2 pm.
Today there were 2-3,000 gulls. Also present was an adult Glaucous Gull.

If warming continues, the ice may not last much longer and views of gulls
will become much more difficult.
