Today (1/15/2010), from noon until 1 PM, I saw the male Redhead reported
earlier at Midway Beach (see below). Selected species noted in the area:

Midway Beach:
Redhead - 1 male
Ruddy Duck - 1 female
Greater Scaup - 2 (1m, 1f)
Ring-necked Duck - 30
Bufflehead - 7
Peregrine Falcon - 1
Dunlin - 400
N. Harrier - 2

Tokeland:
Marbled Godwit - 60
Peregrine Falcon - 1

Hwy 105, Tokeland to Raymond:
Western Grebe - 1
Com. Merganser - 6 (5m, 1f)
Red-tailed Hawk - 6
Rough-legged Hawk - 1

Hi Tweets...I just got a call from Barry Johnson with the report of a male
Redhead at Midway Beach at approx 11AM this morning. He said he believes
this is a "reportable" sighting for this area, which is just inside Pacific
County.
