I often walk about 1.5 blocks to the library with a pocket full of peanuts.
Within .5 block I get crows showing up from nowhere and by the time I reach
the library often over 30 crows yelling at me for peanuts - which they get.
They wait for me and follow me home. Nothing unusual about this.

However, yesterday the same going to the library; however, when I came out
more than normal making a huge racket in a nearby tree. As soon as I
started to throw out peanuts none came and still making a huge racket.
Then some came from far away and ate some of my peanuts but didn't follow
me more than .5 block and still more crows showing up and making more noise
at the tree that they were all congregating. The noise didn't sound much
different from when begging for peanuts.

Does anyone have any idea what was going on with the crows?
