Hi Tweeters,

I placed two photos of the Lesser Blackp-backed Gull at the Yakima
River Delta in Richland in the new photos folder on my website.

It was a typically frustrating bird: it preened nearly the entire
time it was sitting on the ice and it was behind another gull. When
it finished preening, it flew away.

Once again, the lighting conditions were poor with low, dark
clouds. I can't wait for the sun to shine again. (Yes, I know the
sun is shining even when there are low, dark clouds and fog. I just
want it to shine on the bird I'm trying to photograph.)
