Hi, Tweets, I know some of you were in the Doug./Ok. counties this
weekend birding. On Thur. I tried to find a Snowy Owl with no luck, but
today, at approx. 3:30 one was found west of Mansfield off Hwy. 172. It
was first seen from the 2nd pull-out between N. Division and A Rd. This
bird was about 3/4 mile south and west of Rd. A, high on a boulder. It
was possible to drive about 1/2 mile south on Rd. A to get a closer view.
Sorry we didn't find it while you were here, or maybe you did and I just
haven't heard about it. Hope you all had a good trip, in spite of the bad
