On Monday several hundred Snow Geese were observed along Best Road off the La Conner Exit and by Blakies Boat launch. Several Bald Eagles were also observed in the area as well as they hunted for an opportune moment for a Snow Goose lunch. Snow Goose and Bald Eagle numbers have been on the rise in this area the last week and a half.? On another note I am looking for a dependable location to observe and photograph Wood Ducks somewhere possibly in Snohomish or Skagit counties. Any suggestions will be appreciated.? ?
