I used to live in Seattle in the 70's & 80's and came back for a quick visit on Sunday (Jan 17).? So I don't know if it's unusual to have BARROW'S GOLDENEYES?in Seattle or not.? But anyway there was a family of seven (1 mature male, and 6 females and immatures) between the aquarium and the pier with the carousel at about 3:00pm.? Also there were about 20 WESTERN GREBES over on the south side of the ferry docks.
?
(Also a question:??Does anyone know if?the crow we saw on the pier?was a Northwestern Crow?? It looked?fairly small.)
