Hi everyone,

On my way into Seattle for a late morning class today, I spent a couple hours searching for the beautiful Gyr found yesterday near Carnation Farm/Camp Korey.? I was unsuccessful.? Also looking for the bird were Marv Breece, Ryan Merrill, Ollie Oliver and Evan Houston.? Several of them were still there when I left so perhaps a later report will indicate it had been re-found, but we all struck out up until about 9:30 this morning when I left.? I covered the area between 124th and 80th between Carnation Farm Road and West Snoqualmie Valley Road, though concentrated around Carnation Farm, Sikes Lake and 100th.?

Raptor consolation prizes included American Kestrel, Cooper's Hawk, Bald Eagle and Red-tailed Hawk (4).? Marv Breece also had a Peregrine Falcon just before I ran into him.
