Hey, birdwatchers have made it to the comics! I thought it was amusing. I was not offended. Some people are trying to understand why we are so interested in birds. Give them some time to catch-up.


Also, Google AP Michael Casey article, second page, Tuesday Seattle Times, Tuesday and ASIA(the Magazine of the Oriental Bird Club) regarding the Large-billed Reed Warbler: "Rare bird's breeding ground found in Afghan mountains". I was impressed because it was a substantial article on page 2 and hopeful news regarding survival of wildlife in Afghanistan.
