We lost one of our flickers to a kama kazi coopers hawk.We placed a feeder near the back door to enhance the viewing,At the time a flicker was enjoying the suet feeder untill a coopers hawk came in at full speed took the flicker but forgot the inertia and even with full air brakes on slammed into our glass window with a bang. For a time we all looked at each other in suprise amongst the floating feathers. But life goes on and the hawk took his leave with a now limp flicker in tow.Dramatic to say the least but nature taking it's course. All activities no less seised.Never a dull moment at the woodridge feeder.
