Hello Tweets,

Back on the 19th I inquired re: input on birding info for the Big Island. I've had about 15 responses! Instead of responding individually to all, let me first of all say thanks a bunch! Tweeters never fails to amaze in terms of resources and general good will.

For those of you who asked that I share what I learn, a couple of things have become consistent: first of all, an outfit called Hawaii Forest and Trails, http://www.hawaii-forest.com/ has been recommended by several folks. In addition, "Enjoying Birds in Hawaii," by Pratt, came recommended as well.
