hola:

last week i stuck the camera out the window and fired off a couple shots at
what i had presumed to be greater white fronts. when i got home, they
didn't quite match the standard for such a bird. the males have red
eye-rings and the necks look more like snow goose or nene goose.

i suspect the birds are probably resident nybrids. anybody know what they
are?
