Hi Tweets,

I visited the Fill and Magnuson Park this foggy morning 1/27/09. At the Fill I ran into Evan Houston and was complaining that the Redheads, that have been around for at least a month, never came in close enough for me to get a photo. Shortly after we parted, low and behold, out of the fog three pairs of Redheads showed up about 30 feet from shore. I think Evan set me up. Other sightings of note were numerous Ring-necked Ducks, Marsh Wrens, and a fly over Peregrine Falcon spotted by Evan.

At Magnuson Park near the boating center there were more ring-necked Ducks, Common Mergansers, Lesser (I think) Scaups and the usual Coots, Gadwalls and Double-crested Cormorants.
