Sitting here at the computer just now (1/30/10) I heard the sound of geese outside, over my North Everett home. Going out to look I saw skein after skein of Snow Geese flying NW toward the Skagit. It was at least 2000 birds, by far the most I've seen here in the last year when I've seen flocks of 200 ish birds heading NW or SE over town. Pretty cool.
