Good afternoon Tweeters -

I have bees in a birdhouse - look to "bee" a small yellowjacket ? This is in very close proximity to a patio in our backyard and would love to know what to do - either how to move them out of the area or should I get rid of them? I don't use chemicals, so any non-toxic way if it is the recommended to get rid of them... if "removal" is suggested, would be helpful to get easiest way. I was out there after dusk and they were still buzzing around the entrance...so not even sure if it can be approached after dark...

Not sure if all bees are "wanted" or just honey/mason bees. Any beekeepers out there? Please advise. They are pretty fascinating but can't get close enough to watch. My husband is allergic to bee stings, so want to do the best thing for all of us. (Shall I sic them on "BEE" P? - sorry couldn't resist).

As for the birds, I do have a family of Bewick's wrens in the yard. Luckily not the birdhouse with the bees.

Out to the garden I go.
