Today I did the 5 mile round trip hike up to Burley Mountain. Had great views of the four volcanoes and had the place entirely to myself.
But first, I made a stop at Peters Rd. where I relocated the GRAY CATBIRD that Tom Mansfield had found last Saturday. It was hanging out in the shrubs where you park on the left just past the bridge. I also had
TURKEY VULTURE - 1
WILLOW FLYCATCHER
LAZULI BUNTING - 1 (still hanging out)
BANK SWALLOW

On my way up along FR77, I had a BARRED OWL fly across the road. I stopped hoping it had spots, but found bars.
On my hike up the Burley Mountain, I found
RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD
ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER
HERMIT WARBLER - 2
YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER
GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLET
CHIPPING SPARROW
SOOTY GROUSE
PINE SISKIN
HERMIT THRUSH
VARIED THRUSH
GRAY JAY
COPPER'S HAWK - 1

On my way home I stopped at a clearcut off FR25 and found
TURKEY VULTURE - 1
WESTERN BLUEBIRD - 2
WESTERN TANAGER - 1
