Hello Tweeters,
This is a short report on our three day birdying in the Okanagon County.
It was on Friday evening exactly at 10.30 PM , at the parkinglot at the
Snow Park.I did not playing any Tapes,,when the Great Gray calling
about 8 times followed by a screeching loud noise, and than it was silent.
I figures it could be the Owl killed a Prey,or the other that a Raven
Killed one of the young Owls.
I contacted the Tonasket Ranger Station, years ago,as Patrick and I found
our first Great Gray Owl with only one young baby Owl,when both parent
feeding this one young Owl.He told me that the Raven praying on this Owls.So
there for it is importuned not to playing any tapes at there breeding
season. It was a great experience to hearing at such quite place
to hear the big Gray calling.More on our trip will follow later.

Cheers Ruth Sullivan
