I just returned from a 10 day wildlife Safari in Kenya and Tanzania.
Specifically, we visited Amboseli NP and Maasai Mara in Kenya , and
Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti NP in Tanzania.



It was not a birding trip per se (meaning that we didn't stop to identify
all the 'little brown birds' we saw, i.e. larks, pipits, cisticolas, etc.).
However, I did spend a fair amount of time studying the avifauna in addition
to the impressive array of other animals the parks had to offer.



In sum, I was able to identify 217 species, of which about 185 were
'lifers'. Below, I have included a list of both the birds and mammals I
saw.
