Just wondering: looking at the books...there seems to only be reports of Tri-colored blackbirds around Chelan and Othello.....Possibly saw a male at feeder at a B&B we stayed in outside of Pershastin. The owner said he has seen this bird daily (for I do not know how long).......I had a brief view of the bird and am doubting myself ......as I think some RWBL have white and not buffy/yellow coloration.....The black coloration was very glossy (like a Brewer's) and not a flat black as one sees in Red-wings...... (so I guess I am questioning myself here, which is always a good thing to do!..............since they are so rare in this State)

also had at the feeders: White-headed woodpecker and many (TNTC) Black-headed grosbeaks.......and great opportunity to study the differences between the three Carpodacus finches.
