Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report

A WHITE-WINGED DOVE is now coming to a feeder in Redmond. An adult INDIGO
BUNTING continues to be seen at Stewart Pond in W. Eugene. Another INDIGO
BUNTING was seen July 18 near Richland in Baker County.

The shorebird migration continues. A RUDDY TURNSTONE was on the North Spit
of Coos Bay July 19. RED-NECKED PHALAROPES are now moving along the coast.
Adult PECTORAL SANDPIPERS were reported from several areas. A PACIFIC
GOLDEN-PLOVER was at Camp Rilea July 20. An adult BAIRD?S SANDPIPER was at
Oaks Bottom in Portland July 16. On July 19 a SOLITARY SANDPIPER was at
Tumalo Reservoir near Bend.

On July 17, 14 PACIFIC LOONS were at the Devil?s Punch Bowl north of
Newport. The two CLARK?S GREBES and WHITE PELICANS continue to be seen at
the Fernhill Wetlands in Forest Grove. Four HEERMANN?S GULLS were at Finley
NWR July 20. On July 15 a BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER was at Peoria south of
Corvallis. A flock of 30 WHITE-FACED IBIS were seen July 21 flying over
Coburg Road north of Eugene.

On July 18 a CATBIRD was at Drake Park in Bend. Three COMMON LOONS were on
Wickiup Reservoir July 13. A MERLIN was seen July 17 along Hwy 205 in Catlow
Valley.
