I have had Bobwhite in my yard also in Bellingham. The birds that I saw (the first time... I was able to watck them mature for a while) where all young birds. There is a fellow nearby that raises Ring-necked Pheasant each year and gets the eggs from Fish and Wildlife. I assume that this may be the source of the Bobwhites also.
