As I mentioned in a previous post, where I used to see hundreds of bees in my yard, I am now only seeing one or two bees at a time. I used to have all different types of bees including bumble bees, but they are gone too.

Come to think about it, I didn't have any mason bees this year either. Every year for the last twenty years after they hatch out, I clean out their old nests from my wood windows. They enter through the drain holes and lay the eggs under the plastic track at the bottom. This year there was nothing to clean out.
