hi group ... having spent 4 days at dog shows I came home and lounged
around the yard yesterday ... decided to setup my new spotting scope
--- a Nikon ProStaff-65 (my retirement gift from the office !!!!) ---
and try digiscoping the backyard feeder ... if you haven't tried it,
do so, it's rather fun ...

on the suggestion of an OBOL/Tweeters list member I put the spotting
scope in wide-open and the point-and-shoot camera in no-zoom ... AND
IT WORKED !!!!!!!! ... sorry I cant remember who gave me this tip as
I blew up all my stored emails a couple of weeks ago ... but whoever
you are - THANKS ...

the hardest part for me was first making sure I was getting sharp
images, and then the next troublesome part was adjusting the camera's
EV+/- ...

anyways, here's the best results ... fortunately a family of
Black-headed Grosbeaks have been hanging out and gave me many
opportunities of digiscoping attempts ...

cant wait now to try this setup at Ridgefield NWR !!!!!!!!

enjoy,
