Subject: [Tweeters] Fwd: Additional Information, including location and Question for Tweeters- Woodpecker and Snake

Hello Again,

2009 link is gone.

I wondered what I would have done if I was doing the video. Would I have continued with the video? Said: "I don't care if you rock the boat, someone through a rock at the snake" and continued? Or stopped videoing and threw things at the snake to prevent the woodpecker from being killed? If distracted, the snake probably would have retuned later and completed feeding. I have tried to prevent Crows from eating baby Robins on nest and the Crows have always returned after I have left. I am curious about how you all think about this- what you have done?.

Well - I am the one who took this video. It was at PERU Amazon basin - yarapa River.

And I yelled don't move the boat as I was standing up and everyone was so excited I nearly fell + I needed to keep the camera steady.

As someone wrote, this is a one in a lifetime shot. Non of the guides at the Lodge I was staying ever saw such a thing, they where even more exited then I."
