Many thanks to the many who took time to respond to my request for help. The consensus seems to be Rhino Auklet, and the fact that they are commonly seen in that area seems to be a clincher. The "something" sticking up at the base of the beak seemed to be larger than what I see in many of the pics, however, we all know how variable Mother Nature can be. Thanks again for the quick responses, much appreciated!
