while enjoying coffee this morning and watching the suet block
outside we saw one HUMONGOUS Finch on the suet block !!!!! ... it
really through us for a loop ... so I sat on the patio and waited for
it to come back, all the while spinning tales of a "Finch on
Steroids" or perhaps a Finch living just a tad too close to a nuclear
power plant ... well, "baby Huey" came back and I got quite a few
pictures of it ... even then it took me a while to realize it was a
juvenile Brown-headed Cowbird !!!!!!!!!! ... just never expected a
Cowbird on my suet block ... it sure was messy and it sure was bossy ...
