I normally do not post birds seen in the closed areas of the Ridgefield NWR but this is interesting and folks should keep an eye out for western kingbirds. In the past two Months we have had 4 observations of Western kingbirds on Bachelor Island. I wanted to bring this up because being along the Columbia these birds are moving along the river.
