Tweets,
Sandhills nest in a mountain meadow on the Yakama Indian Reservation. So
nesting is a definite possibility.

Subject: [Tweeters] Sandhill Crane in the Wenatchee Mts.
Dear tweeters,
On May 28 I saw a single Sandhill Crane flying over a fairly remote area in
the Wenatchee Mts., near the end of Camas Ck. Rd. Since its long past their
typical migration, one might speculate about possible nesting in a mountain
meadow up there somewhere; but it could also have just been a lone bird
moving around.
Any thoughts?
