The rash of recent reports of W. Kingbird and other migrants is a good reminder that spring migration doesn't end in May here.

Up in n. Lake Stevens, we had single W. WOOD-PEWEE, OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER and CASSIN'S VIREO on Monday 5/31; only the pewee of these has been known to linger into nesting season here and is suspected of breeding. Another CASSIN'S VIREO was seen and heard at the edge of the Discovery Park Visitor's Center yesterday, June 2, clearly a migrant.
