Made a quick trip to Toppenish yesterday. Ended up spending a large part of the day trying for a closer view of a Bobolink but it never happened. Did get one grainy blow-up that confirms what I saw. I only saw three males far enough apart and close enough in time to be reasonably certain they were different birds. They went down into the grass and stayed there except for one that spent some time chasing Red-winged Blackbirds away from his area. They were all on the east side of Lateral C north of the creek about 1/4 to 1/2 mile. The picture isn't worth posting but I have it.
