I received this URL today and was pretty shocked by the images.

I hesitated to forward it on to Tweeters but finally decided that it is so very important that we all know what is really going on in the Gulf of Mexico and to clearly see how it is impacting the birds that we love so much.

However, I have to warn you all that these photographs are excruciating. Please delete them if you would rather not see some terrible but real images.
