There is a second GBH nest at the Edmonds Marina.?? It is located on the marina side of the rock breakwater about 20 yards north of the boat entrance into the marina.??This is almost directly across from the electric box on the steel, inner breakwater where the??Port removed one nest which was never rebuilt.?

I suspect the new nest was built by same herons which built the nest that was torn down.? The nest can also be seen from the walkway out to the fishing pier.?? Just look straight south down the port side of the rock breakwater.???The?nest and its occupying adult GBH?can be hard to see as they blend into the color of the rocks.?e ?
