Subject: [Tweeters] Cassin's Vireo

A Cassin's Vireo in Discovery Park is quite likely to be a breeder rather than a migrant. Our checklist calls it uncommon in summer. Certainly there are years when it can be scarce. This month, based on widespread song. I would have to say that Western Tanager, Black-headed Grosbeak and Dark-eyed Junco seem much more common than 6 or 7 years ago. I am wondering if Purple Finch will join them
