Hi,

This morning we had an Orange-Crowned Warbler, a singing Western Tanager, and best of all,?two flycatchers in the back yard, at least one of which was a Pacific Slope Flycatcher. We have had tanagers in the yard almost every day since we arrived home from a trip on May 16th. This is the best year for tanagers in our yard since the year of Tanager Week (I forget which year that was but I'm sure others remember it). We think today's may be one that has stuck around for several days, frequently singing.

My husband saw two flycatchers sallying about, but I was only there at the right times?to see one, hence I'm not sure if they were the same kind. It stuck around until mid-afternoon.?It made the familiar Pacific Slope whistle, and responded to my poor imitations.
