The last two nights I've heard a Screech Owl in the Sycamore area of
South Issaquah. It's the first one I've heard since 2004.

The even stranger noises are coming from across Issaquah Creek. There
is a variety of calls that go on all night..

YIP-YIP-YIP-YIP and what sounds like a Swainson's Thrush on steriods
"WHIT" are two of the most common.

It's most likely a Virginia Rail, but doesn't sound like any of the
recordings.

Any ideas?
