Subject: [Tweeters] binocs

My 50 year old Manon 7X50, 71degree field, 3 pound (OK, maybe I'm
exaggerating on the weight) binocs have bitten the dust. It didn't help
that I left them on the back porch in an overnight rainstorm and that
my Dear Hubby took them apart to try to fix them...

So, maybe I'm in the market for a new pair or maybe I just want an
expert to fix them. I figure I can spend $300. It's not much, I know.

I love the clarity I have with my old ones, even in dim light, and the
wide field of vision, and the fact that I can make them work with my
weird eyes (nearsighted, astigmatism and prism and I don't take off my
glasses when I use them). When I look at all of the possibilities my
mind reels.

Any suggestions re new and/or repair? I'll be most grateful for any
advice.

Thanks,
