Today Sherry and I spent the day hiking through Cowiche Canyon. Lots of sun, just more than a tad bit warm, and lots of birds. We made a couple of stops on the way. First being at Hause Creek Campground for a bathroom break, and then another stop at Oak Creek Wildlife Area. While walking in the canyon, we heard some robins cussing up a storm. So much they would make a sailor blush. We investigated on just what the problem was, and found a Gopher Snake raiding their nest. The snake was devouring a baby robin. Wow, nature in the raw.
